PIZZERIA | COVID-19 UPDATES
Great news for the hospitality Industry today.
12 weeks to the day of forced closure, the government has announced from July 4th pubs, restaurants and hotels will be allowed to re- open with safety measures in place. If they wish.
After being open for only 10 days. The impact that the forced closure had on The Rustic Crust in March was HUGE. In simple terms the business that we had worked so hard over 5 years to grow from nothing to our beautiful Farnsfield pizzeria opening could have very, very easily closed for good.
The support from our customers with our DIY PIZZA KIT sales over the last 11 weeks has allowed us to support furloughed staff and will continue to support the pizzeria overheads while we aren’t open for bookings.
Although clearly in decline nationwide, which is fantastic!
The immediate future of covid19 on relaxation of the lockdown rules is unclear.
As such we want to remain very cautious at the moment regarding re-opening date announcements.
While we are able to currently support the business and staff. We are also very aware that if we take increased financial steps and costs to re-open and then are suddenly forced to close again after a short time this could be seriously detrimental and close our doors for good.
Although as yet not a fixed date. We do have plans in place and a re-opening strategy.
We are continuing with our DIY pizza kits and rest assured our pizzeria WILL be re-opening very soon.
We will be taking bookings when an opening date is fixed to avoid any disappointment.
Follow our social media where we will keep you updated and informed of plans.
Please, please support, as we will all our other fellow, fabulous local restaurants and pubs that will be re- opening on the 4th of July. We ourselves can't wait to go out for a beer and a bite to eat with friends.
Many Thanks x
Camille, Ross and The Rustic Crust team
