Over the next few weeks we will be advertising, interviewing and recruiting a pizza team for our Farnsfield pizzeria opening in Feb 2020.  Job roles will be advertised below. We are looking for enthusiastic, progressive, confident people to join our new pizza team.

Up to  £25,000 dependent on experience

The Rustic Crust are a well established, Nottinghamshire based, wood-fired street food business.


The Rustic Crust team along with ‘Poppy’ our famous Land-Rover pizza truck has been serving delicious Neapolitan style, wood-fired pizza for the last 5 years both locally and nationally at weddings, corporate events and pop-up venues.

Our self named #pizzastalker following has grown on the strength not only of our pizza but also our customer service. On the back of our success we are delighted to be opening a 60 seater pizzeria and café bar in the beautiful village of Farnsfield near Southwell mid Febuary 2020.

We are obsessive about delivering our pizza and our customer service to the highest standard possible and are looking for progressive, confident people to join and manage our new pizza team.


The Person | The Role & Responsibility


  • Minimum 3 years managerial / assistant management experience within a restaurant & bar environment.

  • Have a passion for all things food and drink with a knowledge of industry trends.

  • Fantastic customer service and people skills with the ability to manage, deligate and get the most from your team.

  • Have a positive, supportive attitude with drive and enthusiasm.

  • The ability to create and motive a high achieving team.

  • Successful candidates will also be asked to assist in team recruitment along with company directors.

  • You will be responsible for the smooth running of the pizzeria and bar. To manage, train, direct and motivate a well organized high achieving team.

  • Sales, marketing and budget activities will be part of your role as well as cash handling and table bookings.

  • Be able to lead from the front, have a fantastic eye for detail regarding service & standards, be a highly organised and effective man manager, being able to delegate effectively up and down the ladder in order to manage the pizzeria effectively.

  • To work alongside an assistant manager alternating late and early shifts (Approx 40 hour week).

  • This position would ideally suit an existing Assistant Manager or Restaurant Manager looking to develop in a new and exciting Nottingham venture.
